New storyline items can be found on a select few prominent monsters. These items are related, and their meaning will be more clear when collecting them all. Some new NPCs were added across the world as well.

1. Food can now be eaten off the ground.
2. The bank can now hold your gold. This currently has no purpose except to cover storage fees, but may be used for something else in the future. The bank now offers storage space for a fee, with no upper limit except what you can pay for. The fees are as follows and are subject to change: 1 item = Free 2 items = 50g per real day 3 items = 200g per real day 4 items = 400g per real day 5 items = 800g per real day Each additional space doubles the daily fee. Storage fees are deducted automatically from the account balance. To increase storage space, there must be enough gold in the account to pay for at least one day of storage. (Characters who existed prior to this system will not be charged for items currently stored, but once withdrawn they will be subject to the storage limit.) If an account holder does not have sufficient funds to cover the storage fee, the bank will attempt to reduce the fee by closing unused storage spaces. If the fee still exceeds the account balance, the balance will become negative. The account holder may not deposit or withdraw items until the balance is restored to a positive value, and storage fees will continue to accrue until that time. If the account holder finds him- or herself unable to pay the debt, bankruptcy may be declared. Account balance will be restored to zero and all stored items will be lost. |

Wizard specialty for Clairvoyance has been changed to grow gradually with skill level, since it was one of the few remaining skills which got full benefit of specialization even at level 1. Wizard Clairvoyance now grants a chance to see invisible things, increasing with skill, reaching the old 100% at skill 30.

- Changed some things to fix world barbs. Tell me if anything seems off with targetting or distances or whatever.
- Attempted to make archers automatically reposition themselves if they're in range but have no line of sight to their target. - Players may now move without breaking combat, as long as their destination is no further away from their target than their current location. This is to allow for repositioning, should it be needed. (This only applies to mouse movement. Since movement with the arrow keys has no definite destination, it will always break combat.) - The maximum duration of Invisibility is increased. - It is now possible to place potions on the skill bar. |

- Encumbrance limit is now (50 + (Strength * 1.35)) instead of (50 + Strength).
- The condition button now gives a readout of monster HP as a percentage, and monster level. - Experience has been changed significantly. The new system allows for fighting weaker monsters than previously, and I'm told that it's more psychologically pleasing to not see earned experience go down when you get a level. I think that's crazy, though. - Pawnbrokers now keep and resell accessories. - There is now a green border for keeping track of party members. Mainly for when they go invisible. I hope it behaves properly. - Shortrange teleport now has a momentary cooldown delay. - Fixed an issue with nighttime archery. |

- Potions placed on the skill bar would lose their icons when the autosave came around. This has been fixed.

- Buffing or healing monsters now triggers the aggression flag. More adjustments to the PK/karma system are coming.

- The PVP aggressor flag will now persist for the duration of any debuffs on players or buffs on monsters.
- Karma should now be enabled for killing someone partway and letting a monster finish them. |

- Poison is overhauled.
Long ago I removed short Regen because it was too strong; why I waited so long to do something about short Poison is a mystery. The damage formula has been pulled into conformance with the other damage spells--it is now influenced by the caster's experience level, skill, and intelligence. On the whole, most poisoners will find their damage per second has increased. However, duration is reduced to 15 seconds for the short variant. The effect of increasing skill level is now the same as for all other damage spells: increased damage and interruption resistance. Poisoners have gained greater damage output, and lost the ability to cast once and teleport away or close a door knowing that the battle is won. The new formula is also friendlier to those who wish to use poison as support rather than their sole damage source. |

- Attempted to fix the occasional overlapping sounds, and added an option in the help menu to try and reset them if something goes wrong. This issue may require more experimenting.
- Potions can now be used while blind. |

- Player locations now show on the who list instead of pinfo.
- Players can now choose to hide their location in the options menu. - Bank storage rental prices are now affected by Haggle. - Mixing polymorphs and Clairvoyance should work properly now. |

- The level of the locked doors in the CTF area have been reduced.
- Foraged food is now subject to the same limitations with logging off as summoned food. At some point they will both probably be updated to not disappear if they are held by the creator during logoff. |

- Adjusted how aggression works to make small amounts of aggro evasion worth something. The effect of distance and aggro evasion have been increased, especially against creatures which have low aggression.
- Reduced the power of the spell Aggression Shield. - Reduced the aggro evasion of the Ranger's Bow from 30% to 20%. - The power of critical buffs and debuffs has been reduced to 150%. - Self and Portal variants of Teleport should no longer get criticals when cast from a scroll. - The MP cost of short variants of buffs and debuffs has been increased. - Many combat-related buffs cast on players significantly below the caster's level will now have reduced effect. There is a fairly wide range without adjustment--for example, a level 50 caster's buffs will not be adjusted unless the target is lower than level 32--so this should not significantly affect anything but powerlevelling. |

- The requested sextant item has been created and will be obtainable soon. It gives coordinates when used and adds a little blinking mark to the world map if you're holding it.
